O God, Thou who art one in nature and three in persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, first cause and last end of all creatures, the infinite Good, incomprehensible and ineffable, my Creator, my Redeemer, and my Sanctifier, I believe in Thee, I hope in Thee, and I love Thee with all my heart.
In the midst of Thine infinite happiness, Thou didst choose me, through no merits of mine, in preference to countless other creatures, who would doubtless have corresponded with Thy blessings better than I have done; Thou didst love me from eternity; and when my hour in time had come, Thou didst draw me from nothingness into earthly existence and didst bestow upon me Thy grace, as a pledge of everlasting life.

From the depths of my misery, I adore Thee and I give Thee thanks. Thy holy Name was invoked over my cradle to be my profession of faith, my plan of action, and the only goal of my earthly pilgrimage; grant, O most Holy Trinity, that I may ever be inspired by this faith, and may carry out this plan with perseverance, so that, when I have reached the end of my journey upon earth, I may be able to fix my gaze upon the blessed splendours of Thy glory.

Mary is Venerated in the Bible!

Many protestants accuses Catholics of Marian or Saints worship. In truth we Catholics do not worship Mary, we venerate her and we also venerate the Saints. Worship is due only to God. Veneration is to honor someone who have served God worthily and God has bestowed upon them such honor. The Blessed Virgin Mary has the highest of all honors because she was the very first desciple of Jesus Christ. She willingly accepted the Will of God to be the bearer of His only begotten Son. We venerate Mary and other Saints and ask them to pray for us, like the way we ask our christian brothers and sisters to pray for us. Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, so humble, pure and patient, whose pleadings with thy Divine Spouse are irresistible, obtain for me from thy Crucified Christ my request (mention it here). When the Church encounters disputes, (in Acts 15:6) the apostles and the elders met together to consider such matter and Peter stood up and said: I should be the one through whom the Gentiles would hear the message. Only Peter was given the keys of the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 16:19). Peter's primacy is biblical. Hence the primacy of Pope in Apostolic Succession. The Holy Bible (in 1st Timothy 3:15) says that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth. Jesus promise (in Matthew 16:18) that the power of Hades cannot prevail against the Church. The Spirit of Truth will guide the Church into all the truth (John 16:13). The Church is commissioned to make disciples of all nations, and teach to the ends of the earth and to the end of age (Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8) Initially, God's covenant was with individuals, then to a family, then to a tribe, then to many tribes, then to a nation, then to all nations OR κατα ολοι ["to all" in Koine Greek is "kata holoi" from which the name Catholic was derived.] (Acts 1:8 & Matthew 28:19) Hence, καθολικος (CATHOLIC).

O most august and blessed Virgin Mary! Holy Mother of God! Glorious Queen of heaven and earth! Powerful protectress of those who love thee, and unfailing advocate of all who invoke thee! Look down, I beseech thee, from thy throne of glory on thy devoted child; accept the solemn offering I present thee of this month, specially dedicated to thee, and receive my ardent, humble desire, that by my love and fervor I could worthily honor thee, who, next to God, art deserving of all honor. Receive me, O Mother of Mercy, among thy best beloved children; extend to me thy maternal tenderness and solicitude; obtain for me a place in the Heart of Jesus, and a special share in the gifts of His grace. O deign, I beseech thee, to recognize my claims on thy protection, to watch over my spiritual and temporal interests, as well as those of all who are dear to me; to infuse into my soul the spirit of Christ, and to teach me thyself to become meek, humble, charitable, patient, and submissive to the will of God. May my heart burn with the love of thy Divine Son, and of thee, His blessed Mother, not for a month alone, but for time and eternity; may I thirst for the promotion of His honor and thine, and contribute, as far as I can, to its extension.
